We are getting many students ringing up to enquire about lessons regularly, one of the first questions we are asked is how much do you charge for lessons and how many lessons do I need?
I explain the pricing and also inform our students that the amount of driving lessons depends on their ability to remember all the manoeuvrers they are required to demonstrate. For every student the amount of driving lessons is different given the amount of skill required to drive safely on our roads.
While some students make a booking, others say they will call back after obtaining more information elsewhere. The most important issue to take into consideration when choosing you’re driving instructor is to know there are many driving schools to choose from, more importantly there are constantly new instructors that have just obtained their
Instructors licence with little practice or sit an accredited two week course with the main emphasis on theory not practical experience, who commence their own driving school and often
Offer reduced prises to obtain work and gain experience as they go while other instructors go to work for bigger driving schools.
Parents or students spend a considerable amount of money on education, but when it comes to driving lessons we tend to want to get it as fast and as cheap as we can.
The car is a pleasure to drive as you can go to where ever you wish, but it can also be a lethal weapon, we share the roads with the general public and not all follow the rules as
Accidents are common, and tend to be more common in younger drivers so one needs to be cautious and aware of making allowances for other road users.
My recommendations when looking for a reputable driving school is to ask important questions such as.
- who is my instructor going to be
- how much experience do they have
- what is the Passing rate of the instructor, anyone telling you 90% or more is not a realistic figure, anyone can make such claims but can they prove it?
It is not necessarily the highest or lowest Driving Lesson Prices that give the best results but rather the quality of your instructor and their experience.
