We often get questions about the first steps to take in obtaining a Learners permit, here we try to answer some of those questions
To obtain a Learners Permit you first need to pass a multiple choice 30 question computer assessment at any licence centre. Most Licensing Centres in Western Australia do not require an appointment to sit the Learner Drivers Test.
You will be required to take with you 100 points identification such as Birth Certificate (original only),Passport, Medicare card and Bank card Etc.
You must get 24 questions right to pass.
Once you pass the assessment you will be given a Log Book to fill out. You must complete 25 hours recorded in the Log book by Parents, Guardians, Friends or Driving Instructors.
We strongly recommend you have some lessons with a driving instructor of your choice to learn currant requirements to pass the Provisional Driving Test.
Who can fill out my Log Book?
Anyone can take you providing they have a currant licence for at least 4 years.
